
is the highest mountain and one of the most beautiful viewpoints of
the Adriatic. Standing at 780m a.s.l.it is also the highest peak on
all of the Adriatic islands. The main access to Vidova Gora is a
paved road beginning at the Kneževravan highland, close to
Nerežišće. All trails are marked and it is not difficult to follow.
The mountain trail from Bol is much more attractive but also
more challenging, so get your water bottles ready and set out on an

This paradise beach is one of the most beautiful on the Croatian
coastline and one of the top beaches in Europe. 2km west from
the harbour town of Bol you will find this spectacular long golden
pebble beach that streches out in the adriatic sea. (15mintues
drive from our hotel)

founded in the 16th century nestled under the Karst caves of Vidova
gora on the southern shores of the island of Brač a number of
hermitic monasteries were founded by the Glagolitic priests, it may
only be reached by foot. The hermitage's origin were the stone
partitioned cave, from then on the dilligent built a church and
hermitage, residential buildings and farm buildings on the cliff
face. They turned vast forests into rich vineyards and olive groves.
It is a wonder to see how the inhabitants of Blaca were able to
struggle with wild nature and poor soil and yet managed to survive
in such conditions for four centuries. It is a natrual and cultrual
phenomenon. (20 minute drive from our hotel)

Located an hours hike above a small etno village named Murvica, this
cave was home to monks who maintained the tradition of glagolitic
writing. The dragon was carved by an unknown monk in the 15th
century while the monks still lived here, and they even built a
chapel in the cave. As well as the dragon there are moons and othger
cult symbols. On the eastern side above the chapel there are carved
human figures and birds in nests, indicating that this was a
christian sanctuary, which nevertheless had elements of pagon
religions (30 minutes drive from our hotel.)
begain in 1909 and many generations of superior craftsman were
educated here. Not only has it been running for over 100 years, it
is a fine tourist destination. Venturing into the school, the sound
of hammering, sanding and chiseling of stone and rooms full of
unique stone sculptures will make you feel as if you are in another
